Hello!

It all started in 2018 when I was working as a receptionist at Sweetwater Sound and my husband asked a question. "If you could start any business, what would you do?" I remembered growing up and helping my mom paint various rooms in our home, doing fun designs on the walls in our bedrooms, and even painting my own bedroom ceiling lime green! It got me thinking, I've always been passionate about home design and creating spaces that people love to live in. His question was all it took for me to begin the planning process, quit my job, and start looking for work.

Origami Painting and Design LLC was born!

 

Over the years we have expanded into cabinet painting, wallpaper removal and installation, logo and mural painting, deck and fence staining, commercial office painting, and more!

2020 provided challenges when the pandemic hit and business slowed down. I took that opportunity to learn how to tile backsplashes, floors, and showers through an apprenticeship for 1 year. After that year I began taking on clients for backsplash install under Origami Painting!

​

In 2023, we had our third child, and the need for help arose. That's when our project manager Ivan came onto the scene! Immediately upon joining the team, Ivan brought a sense of professionalism and efficiency. He has become a trusted guide for homeowners on the job to run things quickly, cleanly, and with attention to detail, and allowed me to step into the role of business owner.

7 years later, we have grown our business into a company that prioritizes our clients, listens to them, and empathizes with the reality that home renovations can be stressful. Our success can only be attributed to God leading the way and helping us create a reputation of trust and quality work. We now have crews of over 30 painters that represent those values and have added so much wisdom to the production team.
